Purpose
The Synterein account cash flow history and transactions report presents account cash flow history and identifies transactions that successfully follow a stale price strategy.
A stale price strategy involves buying shares at the end of days on which signal is up and switching to cash at the end of days on which a signal is down. All amounts in this report are shown in thousands of dollars. Positive amounts correspond to cash inflows and negative amounts correspond to cash outflows.
Data
Daily transaction data from the start of 2003 through the present are used in this report. Balance data is as of the end of 2002.
Analysis
Daily cash flows are accumulated from the transaction data and presented in blue (inflows), red (outflows) and black (net flows). Cash inflows and outflows will not appear if equal to net cash flows.
An account buy is successful if the NAV increases on the day following the purchase (or exchange in) of fund shares. An account sell is successful if the NAV decreases on the day following the redemption (or exchange out) of fund shares.
